Broadband Utilities operates as an integrated design/build/developer/operator team in order to meet an owner's needs. This organizational structure, along with the previously mentioned "Intelligent Design" process, allows for risk mitigation, faster project delivery, and equipment prepurchase strategies.

1.) Risk Mitigation: Broadband Utilities' partners have brought over 50 mission critical facilities into operation either through design, construction, management and/or operation since the late 1960's. This type of experience cannot be easily recreated. It is this type of "intellectual property" that through collaboration and strategic involvement provides mitigated design and construction risks and creates additional efficiencies that provide direct benefit to the client.

2.) Faster Project Delivery: Because of the use of the "Intelligent Design" process and the integrated structure of the project team, ground breaking can actually begin prior to the final completion of the design. Working together as an integrated team increases communication between the entire project team and creates operational efficiencies within the project process. Additionally, the use of BIM tools and technology such as REVIT Building Systems and Navisworks to produce coordinated construction documents reduces delays created in the design and problems uncovered in the field.

Pre-Purchase of Equipment allows for Faster Occupancy: In addition to reduced design delivery time and a pre-assembled integrated team, our strategic equipment pre-purchase plan allows the production of the facility to move forward more rapidly. Utilizing the dcModeler™ to anticipate system requirements, Broadband Utilities can dramatically reduce long-lead equipment times.
